The magazine title caught my attention.
"Shaming China--Activist Chen Guangcheng's daring defiance of a repressive regime." from 'The Week'
-May 11, 2012.
I sure find it odd that everyone in the world (except the Chinese leaders) can clearly see that China is indeed a "repressive regime" and this blind "activist" is justified in being "defiant" and should be "shamed" yet many cannot see that America has become the world's ultimate "repressive regime." I also find the silence about this problem from the mainstream media to be pretty deafening. Maybe it is because many top American politicians and judges have learned that prisons are a money-making scheme beyond their wildest dreams! Why would America, with 5% of the world's population, have 25% of the world's prisoners? We have wa-a-a-a-a-a-ay more per capita that China! What right do we have to call them a "repressive regime?" Why do we have about 10 times more per capita than most European countries? I could tell you stories by the hundreds of injustices I have seen in here! (Read about 20 of the laws broken to put me here in document #365 on www.2peter3.com.)

TG: To have such a large percentage of people in prison, either:
1. Americans are the most wicked people on earth. or
2. Our gov't puts lots of people in prison who shouldn't be there.
I don't believe Americans are more wicked than Chinese, Russians, or Muslims.

1 in 10 American adults is now a "felon" or under some sort of government supervision like probation or parole. Could the REAL motive for all this be Karl Marx's dream of 'gun control' in a Communist based New World Order? Read "The Kennel" by 'Elijah Green' from Amazon.com for LOTS more on this! (www.amazon.com/dp/B005Z8/JIE)
The solutions are pretty simple but require constant pressure on congress (like most political changes historically do). See how many times in the Bible some politician did things (or did not do things) because "they feared the people." Hmmm? Anyway some quick fixes to much of the problem that can be done this summer:
1. Pass legislation to reduce prison terms greatly. HR 223 (which cuts it to 50% and sets me free) is a start. Www.fedcure.org (com?) has others. Call, email, write and generally pester your rep every few days till they get the message!
2. Follow the Constitution! Ron Paul has the right idea there! He recommends we shut down 95% of the federal gov. programs and offices and abolish the IRS and 95% of other gov or quasi-gov agencies that "repress" the people. I agree!
3. Make it illegal for anyone involved in government (congress, judges, US attorneys, presidents) or their immediate families to own stock in or profit in any way from the prison system or its auxiliary industries. Isn't it an obvious conflict of interest when the congress who passes the law or the judge who sets your sentence or the US attorney who prosecutes also profits from your time there? Hmmm? I Tim 6:10? This needs to include the half-way houses. When guys get out of here they go to a half-way house for anywhere from 3-12 months. They must get a job and pay 1/4 of their gross paycheck to the house. Once the managers think they are ready they can be released to go home after just a few weeks BUT they MUST continue to pay the 25% for the entire time they were designated. The manager then 'rents out' the bed to another one while still collecting from the last guy! One bed can have as many as 6 people paying for it with no expense to the house! What a racket!! Some of the guys here were released to the halfway house in Casper, WY which is owned by two judges and an attorney. One is a federal judge. Hmmm? Yathink THAT ought to be a crime? Check to see who owns the halfway house in your area for a real surprise! Many are owned by the Catholic Church or Salvation Army. Yathink they are encouraging their people to vote for legislation that trims down the prison system? Hmmm?
4. Eliminate the silly overuse of the "commerce clause" and let states handle all crimes committed on their property. The 'state line' is zero inches wide and just because something crosses this line does NOT give the feds jurisdiction. I have yet to find one federal inmate that committed a crime on any 'federal property' like military bases and post offices. See the US Constitution Article 3 Section 2 clause 3: "The trial of all crimes .. shall be in the State where the said crime was committed." Hmmm? We sure got away from that one! Time to get back to it. Just that will trim the fed budget by 95%+
5. Eliminate the "conspiracy" laws totally. Under these laws anyone can accuse anyone and have them locked up. Stalin and Hitler did the same thing. Hmmm?
6. Get the federal government totally out of the phony "war on drugs" that has filled about 85% of the prison space. Let the states decide as is clear in the 10th amendment. If Georgia wants to outlaw drugs but Alabama does not-the drug users just move to Alabama. No problem.
7. Get congress to impeach judges that don't follow the constitution. See the "good behavior" clause.
I could list 20 more ideas but let's start with these today.
Yes, China should be ashamed of the great injustice and repressions of freedom. So should America!
Brother Hovind! You are pretty vocal in exposing things that may make people mad! Hmmm? Isn't that the job of every man of God? Have you read Isaiah? Jeremiah? Ezekiel? Daniel? John the Baptist? Jesus?
See ya at the finish line!
